On October 29, BioHong Biotech Group Co., Ltd. (“BioHong”) signed a cooperation agreement framework with Songshan Lake (Biopark) High-tech Development Zone Administrative Committee and Dongguan City Biotech Industry Development Co., Ltd., indicating the entry of an internationally leading regenerative medicine industrial park in Songshan Lake. Yin Huanming, member of Leading Party Group of Dongguan Municipal People’s Government and director of Songshan Lake (Biopark) Administrative Committee, Song Tao, adviser to Dongguan Municipal People’s Government, Li Hang, deputy director of Songshan Lake (Biopark) Administrative Committee, and other officials attended the signing ceremony.
The three-party partnership is intended to establish a regenerative medicine industrial park in Songshan Lake (Biopark) High-tech Development Zone, centering on regenerative medical equipment and stem cell treatment and complemented by the R&D, manufacturing, sales and service of 3D skin test models, medical skincare products and health food. With an aggregate investment of RMB 2.5 billion, the project will be invested with RMB 1 billion in Phase I. By 2025, it’s expected to have realized the industrial output value of RMB 4 billion, business and service output value of RMB 6 billion, and generated a total output value of RMB 10 billion. Upon completion, the regenerative medicine industrial park will help Dongguan draw domestic and international regenerative medicine enterprises and projects and create a regenerative medicine eco-environment, and support the upgrade and transformation of local related enterprises.
It’s understood that the chief technical advisor of BioHong is Professor Jin Yan, winner of First Place Prize of National Science and Technology Awards, specially-appointed professor of Changjiang Scholars Program under the Ministry of Education and chief scientist of National Basic Research Program (Program 973) and a leading figure in regenerative medicine. Satisfied with the overall investment environment of Songshan Lake (Biopark), BioHong has decided to enter the Base. The three parties will unfold further talks to finalize the cooperation details.
